Professional quality photographs of your product or artwork make all the difference for your Web site, eBay auction, or printed materials. You can do it yourself or let us do it—StarCrossings offers a modestly-priced artwork and small-product photography service in New York's Binghamton, Johnson City, Endicott and surrounding areas in Broome and Tioga counties.
Upon receiving your items to be photographed, we use high-quality digital technology and years of experience to shoot the images. Typically we return the items and a CD with your images in 3 to 5 business days depending on the job.

Process: we use a color-managed workflow, professional software, and calibrated monitors to ensure the best color and tonal characteristics for your images. Each image is individually optimized for color balance, contrast, tonality, and retouching if necessary.
Deliverables: we provide a CD containing each image in multiple formats: two sizes of Web-ready JPEG images (thumbnail and full-size) and a high-resolution TIFF image preferred by magazines and other print media.
Image Features: JPEG images are stripped of extraneous metadata (EXIF, IPTC, and color table data) to minimize Web transfer time without affecting quality. JPEG images are delivered in the sRGB color space and the hi-res TIFF is delivered in the Adobe 98 color space at 300 ppi. We can accommodate special requests for other formats, resolutions, and color spaces.
Cost: we'll give you a firm quote before any job but to give an example of our price range, it would cost approximately $100 for a session shooting up to 3 items. Each additional item in the same session would cost an additional $25. Quoted costs include photography, image processing, and CD burning. Additional costs may be incurred for special requests, cleaning, or other prep work.
